The only way CPNP could be considered would be an investor in CPFC with funds to spend of say £1 billion. Totally doable but not on the table today. So better to park it up and do Selhurst. If it were me, I would scale back the planned pomp of the approved stand to say a £120m spend, cantilever the Arthur and give the White horse a revamp extending the pitch to satisfy compliance. I would target 35,000 capacity with a spend of say £200m. creating a far more balanced stadium. That would be within touching distance of what the approved scheme will cost. Easty to say, but would probably spend another 3-4 years on planning and massive stress for everyone involved. Sounds like we have got shareholder support for the approved scheme anyway and I can't believe we would change from that now. So we will have a lopsided stadium with one magnificent stand which looks fantastic on the DGI's. ( and that bloody gantry will be gone from the arthur.) If we ever grow and we ever were to find the big investor well then we could re visit CPNP then. But in the meantime I look forward to Parish realising his dream at Selhurst as approved. Bring it on.

Im no expert but if we cantilever the roof and slope it upwards from the back, Im not sure the difference would be seen by the houses in Park road, or that it would affect their light.
Getting rid of the gantry as the cameras will be in the new stand should sort all that can be done with the Arthur, plus make it look a lot better on the tv.

There’s no way to redevelop the Arthur to get the right balance between expenditure and return due to the planning constraints. It could be developed, but as any solution would be severely sub optimal due to the restrictions the costs would far outweigh any benefits. Did you know? 98.0000001% of people are morons.

I read an article on this a while back. There’s no way to redevelop the Arthur to get the right balance between expenditure and return due to the planning constraints. It could be developed, but as any solution would be severely sub optimal due to the restrictions the costs would far outweigh any benefits.
