To many supporters he is a 'Legend' but Mark Bright is never mentioned in this esteemed category when in terms of goals scored they are not too far apart. Their respective scoring records at our club, in all competitions : Well pointed out Willo. Wright was more explosive and exciting to watch but Bright was just as important to our front line. He was before my time as a palace supporter so I don't care about him at all and don't associate him with palace other than some old goals I've seen and people mention the bright and wright era. Morrison, freedman and AJ were more my time.

I do question why Wright - and Shearer - remain relevant to modern-day punditry. They haven't played the game for ages and they don't appear to me to have any particular insight. One of my all time Palace favourites so I get quite pissed off when he keeps referring to us as ‘them’ and Arsenal as ‘we’. If we were at the top end of the league would we then become we?
