Trying to single out the worst Palace player over the last 51 years would be like trying to identify the worst grain of sand in a sandcastle.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

pound for pound I would say Jordon Mutch, then Ade Akinbiyi ... you can go through the Calvin and Wayne Andrews, Simon Thomas from Boreham Wood or go back to a Malcolm Allinson freebie from Brighton - Neil Martin - if any of you remember his fleeting Palace career it was truly woeful - but these were bought for nought and weren't regular first teamers, the other two however were expensive and utterly abject.

But agree with whoever said Sanogo. Terrible.

JP may not be great but I can assure you there have been many worse,

LOL Thanks for a big laugh!

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

Yes at least JP, Edouard and Ayew have struggled to score goals at the highest level which is now regarded as the hardest league in the world, we’ve had some rubbish upfront in our old division 1, division 2/championship days. Chris Jones, Tommy Langley, Ally Brown, Andy McCulloch, Tony Mahoney, Trevor Aylott, Gareth Taylor, Calvin Andrew, Wayne Andrews, yaya sanogo, Andy Preece just off the top of my head.
Rattling that lot off actually makes me appreciate the fellas we’ve got now tbh

That signing was just so Palace wasn’t it? If you remember Bristol Rovers had a goal machine up front called Marcus Stewart, so what do we do? We sign his strike partner, who was just plain crap
