I’ve never read the transfer pages before so I’ve just read them - they seem to be rumours about players that no one can substantiate and most don’t really believe. Which sounds like this thread. There is more depth though at least about the origins of the rumours. Basically no one knows anything until everyone knows. I’ll wait until (if) the club announce something

I’ll wait until (if) the club announce something The difference on transfer thread is that people post info that they come across and say that it is a rumour or paper chat etc. On this thread the same rumours and paper talk from the exact same sources are being sold as being from somebody in the loop at the club.

If someone makes out that they are ITK and posts that Wilf is re-signing and that it will be officially announced in the coming week, or that Frank Lampard is going to be unveiled as the new manager, or that we have completed the signing of Rhian Brewster (the list could go on)…when that is all exposed as being completely untrue, there should be no surprise (or issue) when that behaviour is called out. I see no ‘bed wetting’ or anyone getting their ‘knickers in a twist’, just constructive and evidenced contributions to the discussion highlighting when someone is being mendacious.

What have I lied about? CHO, Summerville, Gray, Adama or Gnonto - palace looking to sign 1 of these. We are also considering a move for Payet on a free. Still very keen on Balogun & as posted yesterday he is now asking Arsenal to lower their price to help with move. Dest now available on a free so May open up the door - this is me suggesting this as we were previously interested. Hall from Chelsea looks like it will be one if our loan signings Now I know some will find this message offensive so I apologise now.
