We are, but I think more significantly we haven't had Olise and Eze playing together bar a couple of games. Added to that we didn't replace Zaha, so when either Olise or Ebs aren't available we struggle going forward. These are the simple facts of the matter. There are other players, injured or unavailable a times just to add to our problems. But those three alone represents one massive hit for a club like us, Wilf alone has to have been a massive lose of attacking possibility,they would have made Hodgson capable of sending out attacking formations week in week out, as it is the fates put a stop to that.

Gil is a left-footed winger who has an impressive first touch and is a good dribbler and passer of the ball.On occasions his lack of physicality can be an issue.

Dendoncker is the archetypal Roy player. If Dendoncker is a typical Roy player, Gil certainly would not be.

Just putting it out there as I've seen on BBC that Wednesday fans are already feeling nervous about somebody poaching their newish manager Danny Rohl. "coaching setup he's put in place is working magic and self belief amongst the players is driving the team forward" Wondering if anyone on here can add anything to that?
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

I have no idea but was Hodgson a large part of why Wilf left? I get the feeling it was.

So Wilf turned down a reported £200k per week 4 year deal because Hodgson was here for another year...I'm not buying that. And although rumour and not fact, wasn't Wilf the leader of a player deputation to Parish regarding the lack of quality coaching under Vieira ?

Was very impressed by M'boro last night. I didn't look at any of their players and think 'would love him at Palace', in fact some of them looked quite poor at times, however was the very epitome of the sum being far superior to the parts. I would describe that as a win for the manager and his philosophy/approach. I'd love to see that at Palace, if not him.
