Any update for the people who ultimately pay your wages Steve, either directly or via TV subscriptions? Ducking the issues and hoping for the best as usual - t***.

Parish has said previously one of his strengths was his ability to ‘shut out the noise’ and not be deflected from his objectives.
There’s been more focus on Palace this weekend than usual as only 4 Premier League games were played and the protest banners received more attention than they usually would have.
Next weekend is the FA Cup and attention will move to that in the next day or so and Palace will take its usual backseat in the media coverage pecking order.
Therefore I expect Parish will keep his head down until the noise quietens.

In my view it’s a strength that he’s not a knee jerk chairman responding to the latest tabloid headline.
Nonetheless, it’s clear that big decisions may become necessary in both the transfer window and on the managerial front.
So far he’s got in right in terms of our longest unbroken record in the top division, but there’s no room for complacency and he has to make the right calls in the next few weeks whether he’s quiet or not.

Not a dicky bird . Way too busy looking for a scapegoat and he doesn't care about the likes of me and you. Nothing could be blamed on Teflon Steve it just doesn't stick . Sh1t doesn't flow up the hill Steve it does however trickle down from the top .

I don't suppose he is that bothered by what a few lads with banners think and is getting on with the job

And we still need a striker

What job is that then? Reinforcing the squad or appointing a more modern manager?

I think the complacency kicked in during the summer. Ridiculously poor window.

To his credit he stepped in quickly to replace Vieira who seemed to have lost the plot.

Trouble is he picked Hodgson as the safe option to see us through and then, unaccountably, instead of bringing in a more enlightened and younger manager persisted with Hodgson this season.

He flirts with 'new blood' (De Boer/Vieira) but chickens out when the going gets tough.

He is the boss but I find it difficult to read his thoughts and wonder if he relies too much on Mark Bright for advice.

Probably we shall discover what he is thinking in the next few weeks. Sleep walking into relegation demands positive action now.

He may be a bit bothered if it’s the same lads that he often bends over backwards for to accommodate their every wish!

Hopefully all of the above and some . That he failed miserably last summer to do either should give him an insight as to what is required of this one .

The excuse of a new stand is wearing thin and it won't be a lot of use in the championship anyway .The internal troubles at boardroom level are also a concern and though it shouldn't the angst will eventually filter down to the playing side .

His most important job at this time is getting the board onside with the programme because without unity upstairs downstairs will always be a struggle

When he goes public he's accused of being an attention seeker and when he goes quiet people want to hear from him !

I'm not sure what people are expecting from him.

Apart from the majority on here wanting him to sack Hodgson. I don't see him as wanting to do that at the moment. Failure to beat Sheffield United would probably force his hand though.

As soon as he started moving people out of their seats to accommodate their wish to take centre stage in the Holmesdale he gave them a say above their standing and he can't complain now they are saying it

They speak for themselves though not the thousands of Palace fans who didn't take a banner to the game and appreciate where we are in our development.
