As somebody who enjoys the more rabid elements of politics then Ireland, much in the same way it does with its organised crime, offers a genuine operatic vision of how it all plays out.

The footage from the Irish Parliament (or Dali in the old Garlic) when they bailed out the banks back in 2008/2009 is a thing of tragic beauty.

His party the Fine Gael grew out of the Irish fascists, the Blue Shirts in the 1930's .

No irony there

The Blueshirt Tory lost the farmer vote. Independent Ireland will probably take lots of seats in the June Elections.

There's also another EU referendum in June which will probably be a no vote.

All they have to do is ban US vulture funds from buying housing estates and their vote will go back up. They refuse to do it.

It makes you seriously wonder what they get out of it. I believe there are some politicians and former politicians in the employ of these vulture funds. The whole situation is a disgrace. Where I live the houses barely reach the market before they're sold. A housing association, the corporation or a vulture fund buys it. You might think it great that the corporation or housing association buys it but for some reason we house illegal immigrants from countries with no conflict whatsoever well before our own. I don't know what purpose this is serving but suspect it's to undermine all our dolies on 200 a week with their rent paid. Maybe a day of reckoning is coming for them but I strongly suspect nearly all claim some kind of disability anyway. Anxiety or alcoholism will suffice.
We own our home but it does not stop us feeling for those that don't. I can't stand out government. I also often ask the question who exactly voted for Fianna Fail AND Fine Gael? That is the same as having a Tory and Labour coalition just because they want to keep their jobs. Our politics is nothing more than a joke. Talk about not fit for purpose. As for our public services, in any area, do they even actually exist? None of our politicians are worth a sh1te. Varadkar - one of the worst. His EU job awaits no doubt. He can join the other sh1te speakers raking it in to feck us all over whilst laughing down their champagne flutes.

Another waste of 20 million. They continue to listen to out of touch NGO's and do not read the room.

Leo was never voted in. infact he got in at the 5th count at the last election. The new comer simon harris who is not much better got in on the 15th count.

Ridiculous how the voting system is set up. It lets the same old stay on.

The rot in the politics of the ROI is a big reason the Unionists are vehemently opposed to a United Ireland. And I don't blame them.

The replacement of Leo ......Simon Harris, will be just as inept. As unpopular and eventually hounded off to the wilderness.
