Palace defender David Woozley is positive about his future at the club. He is now on a months loan at Bournemouth and he said that he wants to use this loan spell to prove he still has a future at the Eagles.
The 20-year old wants to build up his fitness so that he can challenge for a first team place when he returns to Selhurst Park.
He said: "I've done well this is a chance for me to build my reputation and a name. I'm not saying that I want a move.
"There's no way that I want to leave Palace and I'd love to get another chance to prove myself. Hopefully, I can play well for Bournemouth and Alan Smith will take some notice.
"The club has signed a lot of good young players and some more have been signed and I want to be part of that."
Meanwhile, Alan Smith said that the rumours about the Eagles trying to sign Matt Le Tissier are not true. There has been no contact between Smith and Saints boss Glenn Hoddle about Le Tissier according to the Palace supremo.
However, it is no secret that Chairman Simon Jordan is keen on signing Le Tissier
Smith said: "I haven't spoken to Glenn Hoddle about him, there's nothing in it."
