Banton and Parsons sign new deals

Crystal Palace's Jason Banton and Matthew Parsons have signed new deals with the club.

The deals keep the pair at the club until 2014 and both of them have an option of an extra year.

Parsons has played 10 times for the first team so far since signing a professional contract with the club back in April 2010.

Banton who has previously been on the books at Liverpool, and Leicester City is currently on-loan at Plymouth where he has scored three times in five games.

He has extended his loan at Plymouth Argyle until the end of the season, although the Eagles have a 24 hour recall clause.

Speaking on twitter he was pleased at the news of the new deal: "Delighting (sic) to have agreed a new deal at @Official_CPFC!".

Parson also wrote "Pleased to have signed a new deal with @Official_CPFC now time to kick on #hungry #success".
