Crystal Palace have released out-of-favour winger Jimmy Kebe.

The 31-year-old only made two starts and four substitute appearances after joining from Reading in September 2013.

Kebe moved to Leeds United on loan for the second half of 2013/14 after failing to impress managers Ian Holloway and Tony Pulis.

The Malian international returned to Selhurst Park after featuring nine times at Leeds and Palace have decided to let him go after he was unable to get into the new 25-man Premier League squad.

He tweeted: "Just been released by Crystal Palace FC. I wish all the best to the club and my team mates. Excited about the future!"

Forward Kevin Doyle went back to Wolves last week after his loan deal at Palace expired.

The Republic of Ireland international joined on loan from the Championship club in September and made five Eagles appearances, scoring in the FA Cup win at Dover Athletic.
