We continue our spotlight on Crystal Palace's cheerleaders, The Crystal Girls. This week, it's Kim!

Name: Kim.

Age: 24.

Hometown: Bognor Regis.

Occupation: I work at the London Eye.

Nickname: Kimber.

Dance Background and Experience: I started when I was two. I’ve been to a theatre school, Sylvia Young’s. That was from 11 to 16 and then from 16 to 18 I went to the BRIT School, and then just started working after that. I’ve worked ever since I was about four actually in showbiz and such. I was Gemima in Chitty, Chitty Bang, Bang, the original cast when I was 11, been in EastEnders, Harry Potter, loads of things…

Words to live by/favourite quote: Typical dancer one is, "Dance when no one’s watching".

Words that describe you: Outgoing, too outgoing, laid-back (at the same time, which is weird), a joker.

One thing most people would be surprised to learn is: I did Miss England this year and came 11th. So yeah that was a bit surprising, that came out of nowhere.

Biggest Fear: I don’t have one, not that I’ve found one yet.

What would be your superpower? Flying.

Most Embarrassing Moment: When I was at college, we were doing Singing in the Rain, and it was a tap routine but we had to wear wellies. We had these little pools that like were puddles and I had to leg it from one side of the stage to the other, and as I did, I stepped in this puddle. Now it was fine all the time we were rehearsing, absolutely fine, and then someone had put washing up liquid in it and I slipped and I literally slid from one end to the other end of the stage. It’s on video, so awkward, but it was fun.

Dream Job: This actually, being in The Crystals. I left the Crystals just the end of last season, and I missed it so much that I came back.

Dream Holiday Destination: Mauritius.

Why did you decide to audition for the Crystals? I hadn’t seen my friend from the BRIT for about a year. She’d gone away working in Turkey, and she’d come back and we were going on a night out. She went, 'I can’t go too mad cos I got training the next day'. I went, ‘Training for what?’ she’s like, ‘Oh I’m a Crystal girl.’ And I was like, ‘No way!’. I’ve gone to the game, watched it and didn’t know how to get into it, and she went, ‘Alright, well I’ll get you in touch.’ And that’s how I did it. So yeah, my ex-boyfriend’s family are all season ticket holders so I used to go watch the game with them guys.

What are some of your Crystals highlights? It has to be like… every game. I know that sounds stupid but every game is different. Every game, like the atmosphere is just… it’s so intense and you go to any other club, even like not the Premiers League, like Championship or anything lower. Like it's…there’s nothing like it, we’re the best, obvs.

Movie: Rent.

Phone App: I use Twitter way too much - too many selfies.

Cartoon Character: Betty Boop.

TV Show: Supernatural.

Ice Cream: I’m boring, Vanilla.

Junk Food Weakness: KFC.

Least favourite Article of Clothing: The funny thing is, I don’t like shoes, but I don’t like feet so I have to have socks on in other words. I don’t like wearing shoes, I have to take my shoes off - if I’m inside obviously, as it's weird if I was outside.
