Crystal Palace winger Sullay Kaikai has joined Shrewsbury on loan until January.
Kaikai played most of Palace's summer programme and was unlucky not to score against FC Union Berlin when his rasping drive hit the bar before he netted against Bromley.
The 20-year-old, who scored on his Palace bow in a Capital One Cup tie against Newcastle last season, will go into the squad for the League One side's game with Crewe.
"I'm very excited - it's a chapter that I'm looking forward to a lot," said Kaikai. "I want to contribute to the team and help them as much as I can.
"I don't know too much about Shrewsbury but I'll get to know a few of the lads staying at the hotel I'm staying at so I'll get to know the faces.
"After talking to the manager - they kind of sold it to me. They play attractive football and the system suits me so it will benefit me a lot. The way they play, the style and the formation he plays suits me."
The Southwark-born Palace Academy product made 30 appearances on loan for Cambridge last season.
