What puncheon has done for us since 2013 but now he is causing us too many problems. He constantly slows attacks down by pissing about with the ball and pirouetting about 5 times before eventually losing it. We need Schlupp out wide to give us that injection of pace that yala used to give us. With schlupp and wilf out wide it will give us a fighting chance.

He does indeed do this, but to me that's just because like all the others now he's scared to take a risk and give it away. The problem is by doing that he does slow down our attacks and gives it away anyhow. Our movement is now non existent which makes it harder.

Maybe he has been told to slow it down to give the others a chance to catch up and join the attack . Punch is class ,if he wasn't doing what the manager /coaches tell him he would be replaced . I agree though that we should speed up our attacks ,I just think your pointing at the wrong person/people

I still don't think him and Cabaye work together in the team. It's a balance thing and when they both play it weakens the team. I would have a midfield of Cabaye, Ledley and McArthur with Schlupp and put Remy and Benteke together. Injuries and suspensions might change that but we need to stop changing the team one week to the next and get some consistency. As for the keeper and back four..........

These are not bad players, no matter how it looks right now, but they are playing scared, just waiting for that banana skin and some are hiding.

Apologies for sounding like a shrink.....but the main issues are.... Manager - taken on a bigger challenge than anticipated Coaches - new tactics take time to get embed Players - confidence gone. The actually look afraid to make a mistake and arguing with each other. Team spirit low Some players been in this position before and perhaps not up to the fight again? Fans - have had their share of highs and lows over the last few years. Passionate, supportive - but a lot of frustration and negativity has now crept in. It's infectious.....you moan, they moan, you scream, they scream etc.... What can be done: However hard it seems, we have to support the team. We are the ones that can make a difference. We have done it before. You can argue all you like about poor players, performance, large salaries etc.. but if we want to survive..we have to somehow inject some confidence and passion back into the club. I know I will be criticised for the above ..,but like you, I would love to keep our premiership status..

Im with vince, we gotta get selhurst rocking on saturday and give them some confidence to go forward, negativity feeds on the players and you can see it, bunch of rabbits in headlights, we all want to stay up so should start anew on saturday and roar them on , dont want to see anyone abusing any player from the stand while theyre taking a throw in or near the touchline, only works against us, they feel like a cnut and hardly going to do the confidence any good!

If that's the case it may be best picking a side without Townsend or Benteke in it. Out of all the players these two at the moment are underperforming and making the wrong decisions/losing the ball the most which then puts those behind them under pressure?

Maybe, but whoever plays we got to get behind them, if they are shot of confidence, stamina, ideas etc, the manager can sub them, he wants to win as much as us, we have to create atmosphere to give them some confidence an not feel like the away team if we gona have a chance to survive

The movement in front of punch is awful we are easy to defend against at the moment.
