We are now up to seventh favourite for the drop, at odds from 11/2 to 8/1. The three in relegation slots are West Brom, Stoke and Huddersfield. Also ahead of us are Southampton, West Ham and Swansea. I know things are looking much better after yesterday but I wish I felt as confident as that!

Yeah me too, however, we must be patient. Our biggest plus points are having Roy at the helm and the confidence the squad are showing. So, keep the faith and hang on in there!!

Just think how the Baggies clamoured for Pulis's sacking and now with one win in 18, they now realise they've been " pardewed"!!

West Ham and stoke have to face FOUR of the big six in their run ins.

Huddersfield and Swansea have to face THREE of the big six in their run ins.

Southampton and Newcastle have to play two of the big six.

We only have to play one.

I think this is a huge advantage for us.

Right now I would predict wba, Stoke and Huddersfield (sadly for Hudds) to go down, but West Ham would be my reserve choice.

Come on Huddersfield !

It would not be impossible for us to finish as high as 13th, which would improve on last year..

You're right but I don't think getting rid of Pulis was a mistake... the mistake was replacing him with Pardew. They were poor for quite a while under Pulis and needed a change. They just got the wrong guy in.

He's exactly the same Pardew as the one we sacked. Plays attractive football for about ten minutes, then they tire, fail to close the game out and lose from a winning position. And then he goes on the telly and makes feeble excuses for yet another pathetic defeat.

In his post-match yesterday he clearly knew that West Brom were goosed. And the market agrees with him: 100 / 1 on to go down.

I think Southampton will probably scrape it. Hudders or West Ham to go down (West Ham's run in is abysmal and they're in a crisis). Southampton only need a tiny bit of a new manager bounce with Hughes to survive. I think whoever loses Southampton v West Ham game though is my favourite for the third relegation slot.

Based on their upcoming fixtures: West Brom, Stoke, Southampton. If not Southampton, Huddersfield.

I hope it is Southampton, West Brom and Stoke to go down.

I dong like Mark Hughes. He is dowr and his perspective on matches is dillusional.

I would like Cardiff, Wolves and Derby to come up... easier for me to travel too next season!!

I thought Southampton ought to have enough to get out of it, but just been watching them getting bossed about by a League One side in the FA Cup and lucky not to be losing, I wouldn't be so sure. Especially not having appointed as manager the reason why Stoke are down there with them.
