If he's not lost the dressing room. And I can see him changing a winning team. He clearly had to eat some humble pie and we looked miles better defensively at set pieces and in general play. We gave up a lot of possession yesterday though and I'm not sure that approach will work v Hull. I can see him bringing JC back in and dropping Townsend, pushing Punch to the left.

He has listened to people by the team he put out yesterday ...What a difference.
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

Southampton had many chances to score yesterday & just weren't on it with final touch. I'd be much happier if they hadn't had so many opportunities, but they had loads which is forgotten once weve won. It was a great win but let's not get carried away with rose & bluebell tinted spectacles. (Im not a pardew hater)

He made changes based on his analysis and using the players input. Are people that naive to think he's going to ask the fans for their advice? Lots of people on here really kidding themselves into thinking they have any influence whatsoever on a manager's decision - you haven't, so stop dreaming.

Joanne Cabaye? If it's YouHaul Cabaye then I get your reasoning for the game against Hull. However, someone pointed out yesterday that Puncheon played as well as he did because of the change, being supported by Ledders and James McAttilio instead of Cabaye.

I hope not, because collectively, I suspect our knowledge of football tactics and management, is probably at best non-league. Otherwise, surely some of us would be managing football teams? I know we like to think we know best, but I think its more a case that Pardew played a 'secure' set up, with more focus on getting the result, and used last weeks f**king disaster to get the performance. If he listened to the HoL surely he'd have resigned or topped himself by now.

(Im not a pardew hater) That also can read as 'we put sufficent' pressure on them, and narrowed down angles etc. Any professional footballer, with time, will find the back of the net 9 times out of 10. Defending is about not giving them time, cutting down the angles to get the block or give the keeper a good chance.

When I said he listened to people I did not mean us "mere peasants" on the Holmesdale I meant his training staff as he had Keith in the technical area yesterday a thing he does not like or allow usually!!
