True 7-0 is a real hammering but the stars aligned for Liverpool today it will be a long time, if ever, that they win a game 7-0 with 8 shots on target. Perhaps at 3-0 at halt time Roy could’ve changed things from a damage limitation perspective but we all know Roy doesn’t like to make wholesale changes at half time. Onwards and upwards!

0-7 and we have one player booked? Can't imagine Big Sam or Warnock or Pulis settling for that. Just too nice.

Just consider Pool had eight shots scored 7 goals and Guaita had no chance with any of them. That says it all!

I agree that the finishing was clinical and we did not take our chances, again. Bad day at the Office let’s move on. Remember Liverpool conceded 7 earlier in the season, so we could be top in a couple of months!! I do think PVA needs dropping though

No. They had 8 chances and scored 7. If it was 3 or 4 nil maybe you could say that they were very clinical, it we managed to stop 1 change. By the time Kouyate went off at 4-0 neither him or Cahill had attempted a tackle. You can’t really say it was luck that many times. Their were some positives in the first half, but we absolutely capitulated whilst Liverpool drove on for more and more goals. They are a very good side, but claiming that we were just unfortunate SEVEN times is a nonsense aregument.
