Could it be that we will be the biggest spenders in this window? So many clubs are clearly worried about PSR and for once our board's more prudent management of finances has basically let us choose which Championship player to go for.

You’re being kind. Most clubs don’t need to spend this much.

Our signings add to what we need - we've needed a right back for ages. Then we were unlucky with Doucoure's injury. Wharton seems prudent but we will now have was he worth it for a few games. It's time will tell really but he seems a decent signing. Feels a bit expensive but he wouldn't be that expensive for most teams.

Spurs have probably spent more if you include Werner's loan fee

They did say this morning that as it stood then, the £22 million for Wharton is the second highest fee paid this window

We spent more (on disclosed perm transfers) than 17 of the other clubs combined!

Pleased with who we brought in, but we needed a forward.
A bit disappointed that we didn't have more options for at least a loan.
Getting Cornet was always going to be doubtful.
