Ukraine war > Ukraine flags

(I’m sure I’ve missed loads here)

I would really like some predictions though. What’s next?

Could be another migrant 'crisis' given the wheat shortage about to hit the world. Possibly an open civil war in Egypt as well, linked to the price of bread going through the roof and the cause of even more regional instability. Also hearing quite a lot of noise about petrol shortages in parts of the third-world as well that is causing problems.

Monkeypox is nothing, just stirred up because of internal funding issues going on over the direction of medical research post-covid.

It's possible, once this Ukraine/Russian issue plays out, hopefully sooner rather than later, we might get a relatively calm period, at least in Europe. More global shockwaves from it that could be grabbing the head-lines.

The only potential domestic drama I can see in the near future is if Starmer gets fined. If he leaves, we get the song and dance of the leadership contest, which is literally impossible to call given the scarcity of credible candidates in position to actually take part and if he decides not to resign, then we get a lot of to and fro'ing again.

However, given the last few years, who honestly knows? This time next week we could all be sheltering under the stairs as ET decides to make his move and launch an invasion.
