George Ndah. Got sent off for hitting an opponent at Bristol Rovers in a reserve game and spent the rest of the game chatting to the ten or so Palace fans by the touchline. Came across as a genuinely decent bloke.

Mind you, the alternative for him would have been o and get bollocked by Steve Kember.

No ! Not the mind probe !

John Salako - one of my best friends, love him big time. Jolly of course. Dougie who is a great guy. Wrighty & Brighy, Geoff Thomas, Gareth Southgate, John Humphrey, Eddie McGoldrick, Alan Pardew - the FA Cup team were the biz. We've been lucky and had some lovely lads at Palace.

Matt Clarke's realy nice. Met him last season in the Player's lounge before the Brighton game. He spent the entire time just stood about chatting to fan, whilst the youth team just swanned about like they owned the place. Also during a match I was sat behind the goal and Mattie was, when possible, interacting with the crowd, chatting to them, joining in with the jokes, and a man after my own heart... chomping away on a Yorkie...

Hayden was really nice as well. Saw him being dropped off at the top of the Homesdale Road before a match and walking down through all the fans to the ground.

A few years ago when I worked at an insurance broker's in Warlingham I looked after Dean Gordon's motor policy. Every now and again he would come in and I'd spend 2 mins sorting out his queries then 20 mins chatting about Palace.

He came in the day before we played Pompey away in midweek and asked if I was going. I said no cos it was all ticket and didn't have time to go and buy one, so he asked how many I wanted and told me to meet him at their ticket office before the game. I told my mate that Deano was sorting tickets; he didn't believe me but came along anyway. Bang on time Deano hobbles up (he was injured again) with tickets in hand as promised.

Top bloke. Made me look good too!

of the current players it has to be Aki - and of the past players, Nigel Martyn was a top guy - always had time to speak to people, superb at the kids xmas parties and a true gentleman - I've got nothing but good words to say about him.

Met Gareth Southgate outside Carrow Road before a midweek game when he was just breaking into the first team. He told us he was injured and would be watching from the stands. He was chatting to a few Palace fans and had a few tickets that the players had been given for families and friends. Me, my Dad and quite a few others got in for free and had a good old natter with him. Seemed a jolly nice chap.

My dad got me Mark Bright's autograph after bumping into him in Shrewsbury high street the morning before a match between Palace and the Shrews (bogey side!). Brighty waited while my dad nipped into a shop for a pen and paper. Dad also got an autograph from a mate of Brighty's, but to this day I haven't been able to work out who the hell it was!
