As I see it we have 4 games where we have a realistic chance of collecting points and we need 35 to stay up.

games are certainly running out now, personally I think we will need 37 points, I think we can get them but it will be down to the Fulham game

We need 5 points prior to the Fulham game. We have to win either the Villa or cardiff game and get a point from the other. Then we have to pick up a point somewhere else, as we are awfull aganist top half sides the best bet is West Ham. Then of course we'll have to beat Fulham. It's going to take a massive effort and a chuck of luck to stay up, really is to close to call right now.

I honestly think 2 wins might be enough at this stage. Sunderland haven't won in four league games and have to play away to City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham and at home to Everton & West Ham in their next 6. Considering how few they're scoring and how many they're conceding I think they'd have to regard 4 points from that lot as a massive success and can see them getting less.

I think we need three more wins,have a feeling we might a shock result against Chelsea. Jason Punchoen scored twice against them for Southampton in a 2-2 draw at Stamford bridge last season in a 2-2 draw.

I said a week back 36 keeps you up. So we need 8 points. A point at Newcastle would of been well needed and well deserved, but I had that down as an away loss anyway. Our 8 points will be. Wins - Cardiff & Fulham Lose all the rest
