Aston Villa.

No, Villa have experienced relegation more than once in recent times. I'm sure they went down around 1980 and came straight back up, with Norwich I believe. It's got to be Liverpool for the third most continuous stint in the top division.

Villa went down to the old 3rd division as I recall around 1970. They won the old first division in 1980 and the European cup the following year beating Bayern in the final. They were relegated again in the late 80s as well

Your right and he did a few weeks at Derby,which he thought would be enough of an apprenticeship before taking on the Chelsea job. Came up short and the rest is history as they say.

Would be nice to see Everton in the Championship to see what their fans are really made of.
