I am fookin' excited to take my boys to see Palace in July! Who is going? Where are we standing? Which pub are we drinking at prior?
So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet. |

Some of us from the CP Perth FB group caught up with Jeff Hopkins at a pub at Elizabeth Quay after the tour launch yesterday. Lots of stories from the Noades/Coppell time He's keen to get together with the National group when we get to Melbourne!

Will be interesting to see how many fans can make the long trip over. I do apologise for Perth being located at the arse end of nowhere, but it is a beautiful city & the stadium is amazing.

I am hoping someone who has been to the Optus Stadium can give me some advice please. I see we have been given blocks 104-107. Is the view from those blocks any good for a football game, as the pitch/stadium is circle? Obviously would much prefer to be in the designated Palace area, but after a very long distanced flight, it would be good to actually see the game. Maybe block 305-306 right behind our designated section will be better for the view. Thoughts?

Probably 305 or 306 would work if you prefer a better view! Edited by WA Eagle (03 May 2022 1.43pm) Edited by WA Eagle (04 May 2022 11.48pm) Edited by WA Eagle (04 May 2022 11.49pm)

I have my ticket and looking forward to the game. Optus is a new stadium and all area's will have a decent view. A far cry from the Arthur Waite stand trying to navigate round the posts. The rows towards the front are still well elevated above the pitch and are great seats. The ground overall is almost circular so it will depend a bit on where the goals are but i would not be overly worried where you are sitting. The Man U v Villa game is almost sold out so let's hope out game is well attended which will add to the atmosphere.

I'm going to the United game at the 'G with my son, but after thinking long and hard about hopping over to Perth and a few of those "looks" from the missus, decided not to go. Enjoy the event and seeing Palace "live", wish I was joining you. What the heck is going on with the local AFL "Eagles?
