I think this may explain why the Hall deal fell through poor old Chelsea didn't get their way so threw a strop.

Yes!! It really does feel like a new signing. I have gone from gloomy to super excited in a split second.

There must have been discussions going on in the background. No doubt it has come at a high price but I assume with no, or a far higher, buy out clause.

Ultimately, he must have wanted to stay with us more than go to Chelsea or city. Result!
