Last season he arrived with fanfare and promise... and an injury. He then spent the best part of the season... injured. If he can come back this time... uninjured... and then spend the most of the season... uninjured... then just perhaps we will see how good he is.

He'll flourish under Glasner like everyone seems to - he's not just a blind dribbler - he links up well, puts the ball into good spaces and moves into good spaces. He was excellent in the home game v Burnley, just needs more composure when shooting - he looks more of a team player than some wide players, will beat just one defender then release it - Freedman spotted a young player with a bit of vision not just raw skill - may not be the next Wilf or Olise, but will probably turn out at least as good as Wayne Routledge.

Kept injury-free and we have a brilliant player, he showed glimpses last season and under OG he will blossom.

Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere but what is his current status? Is he on tour in the USA? Still injured? It's all very quiet.

From info from the end of last season he had an op on a groin injury that would "keep him out until next season" I'm guessing the pre-season came a little early in his recovery and he was left out of the tour party .
