The recent wins against Cardiff and Burnley, both games where we were 2 goals down, got me thinking about games in the past when we have managed to come back and win after being two goals in arrears. The one that stands out for me was the 1969 Fulham game when we needed a win to pretty well assure us of promotion to Division One. It all looked as though it was going to go horribly wrong when Fulham quickly took a 2-0 lead. But, it all ended happily with us turning it around to take a 3-2 victory. I am scratching my head to recall other examples ... over to you

I think I read somewhere that our victory aganst Cardiff was our first comeback from a two goal deficit at home since 1969. So we've now done it twice in two games. London buses and all!
If punk ever happened I'd be preaching the law, instead of listenin to Lydon lecture BBC4 |
