Going to the Amex is rather like making love to a beautiful woman Paul. You form an orderly queue until it's your turn to enter then slide neatly into a surprisingly capacious venue. With a somewhat awkward and quiet atmosphere you wait for everything to kick off. After a few minutes of poor performance you slip away early, making your excuses and try to forget the whole ordeal.

We put 25,000 Brighton fans in the Amex to see if the excitement of watching their team play could keep them within the confines of the souless stadium for a full 90 minutes
