In 1969-1970 season 19 of those 20 teams you name (including Palace) were together in the old first division. The only club not present was Villa.

I think Wimbledon, purely for the commitment to get their club back, deserve a shot. I like Bournemouth in it, i don't think Newcastle deserve to be in it. However, i would like to see Celtic in the premiership. Actually, the league cup should be scrapped for the Nations Cup - throw scottish and irish teams in the mix. great idea!
