Hi all Can anyone help. I would like to rip off some footage from my Virgin box, but unsure how. I have read up online, but have drawn blanks so far. I know you can record via DVD recorder, but dont want to have to buy one. Any easy (ish) methods? Thanks in advance to anyone that can help..

Sit in front of the TV and record it on your phone's camera.

It's not ideal but the way I get around this is to use a VHS to USB adaptor via the Tivo scart. Unfortunately you are converting a digital signal to analog and back again and of courser you have to transfer/record in real time but the output is perfectly watchable. I bought a Honestech adaptor from Maplins aboout 6 months ago and it does the job.
