Any idea why the pages are now frozen until all the ads are fully loaded? You used to be able to scroll or type while they were still sorting themselves out but not anymore.

Miles. I'm not sure if you know how the Internet ads work on alot of websites these days? And hol is one of these. They track other websites that you look for and so on. So someone who signed into the hol after looking at trainers online will see ads for sports ware and so on. This is the very reason why when I'm looking at hol I see nothing other than asian babe's p*** sites. Because....well...no reason. So ultimately 90% of ads you see on here are due to whatever you or someone else has views at some point on the device you are currently using. I get the same site, and I 100% do not boff one out on a company phone because that would be ridiculously stupid. Likewise I don't look at housing either, yet I normally get ads for 'sell my house in 3 days' or whatever it is.

The ads for sell your house in 3 days we all get. Because they sponsor the general talk forum. The others though are either from cookie tracking, at random or occasionally malicious.

The ads on the site are beginning to make it unusable. They're so f***ing slow and freezes the site while it loads the poxy things.

Anyone getting an irritating Peugeot advert popping up that takes up the whole page? I can't even see where you click to exit the ad and the only way out of it seems to be to click on the message board header which is irritating when you are reading through a thread. I'm logging on from work on Chrome as normal and haven't had it before.
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |
