My favourite record when I was growing up was Rattus Norvegicus by The Stranglers, the front cover was a picture of what looked like the 4 of them in a art collectors house. It was only about 30 years later I found out that the picture had been taken in Blackheath, which was where I went to school. It was in a house called'The Old Knoll' and by coincidence it is about 400 yards from where the photo for the Sham 69 record was taken.

It was when they first started to do some modernisation to the area around and opposite East Croydon in the early '80's. It was a big new spacious building with big glass frontage. Used to love going to Bonapartes in Bromley,always saw Siouxsi,Billy Idol etc hanging around there. Ollie's Dad,Ash.
