No not us. Palace of Westminster and Buck House in need of a bit more than a dab of artex and new woodchip it seems. Refurbish them for future generations or let them fall down?

The last makeover at Buck House was 1952. It belongs to the nation and should be refurbed. The Queen and family should contribute towards the cost though. She has plenty of spare cash in her coffers!

My Nan and Grandad were sensible enough to buy a bungalow when they hit their 60s. I'm not sure how much trust I can place in a woman who is living in a house she can't maintain herself.

Although it's an ugly building if it needs to be repaired it should be. Open Buck Palace up to the public for more than the usual 8 weeks every year to help finance it.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |
