Not costumes but accessories - perhaps the Croydon Advertiser could sort out some folded paper clappers for their fans? Or maybe Brighton have a few leftovers they could donate? Would be terrific to see.

Also, I think their fans should be held in the ground until everyone else has gone home and the lights have been turned off. They pose a health and safety risk and could potentially trip decent folk if they were let out in the crowded streets in their oversized shoes.

for starters playing cher's 'gypsies , tramps & thieves' would be a nice gesture.
