10,000 for a big party in the Mall. 90% of the tickets go to the "elite" and the other 1,000 to the great unwashed in a lottery. Tickets cost £150. I don't know about anyone else but if I throw a birthday I don't expect my guests to fork out to attend. She's worth about £44,000,000,000. Can't she pay for something just once?

Does anyone actually believe this is the way she wants to celebrate her birthday? F**k me, rather her than me. The idea of a shedload of minor celebrities, politicians, and random hangers on turning up for a shin dig and to get their picture taken on my birthday would be hell!

150 quid, that takes the p*ss, unless its all drinks and food included. Its like those nightclubs that were twenty quid entry for a night of banging techno, but in fairness they weren't making much at the bar. Is that the case here, the Queen is going to throw some banging tunes, and pass out a few quality free eckies? Gran E Royal.

Then again, at 150 quid a head plus a cut of the bar, she could be looking at a nice earner. Especially if she charges for photos.
