As it is a unite spokesman has said that the person with the grievance had been employed on short term contracts. Hopefully the truth will out. If Unite were in the wrong then I'd suggest that their members join another union. I rarely chime in on these discussions, but it is nice to see you championing the free market.

You couldn't really expect your employer to represent your best interests, even if they are a union. Of course the employees of the union of union employees would need to belong to another union....
