Just back from test driving the new civic Type R GT absolute awsome car,the one i drove was 15 plate 28000 ,4500 thousands miles thinking of getting it.just wondering what peoples thoughts were on the car.

actually thats what i thought before i got in it but the spoiler doesn't make a lot of difference,you can still see out the rear window ok

Visually I don't like the new Civics but as a hot hatch you can't fault it for performance etc.

Just don't be like the tit in my square who had one (older version) and thought it was fun to drive round it 7 times revving up then braking like a tit, although I did laugh at him and the state of said car when I see it had front ended something and had been towed back.

Stupidly quick but I just don't like the look of the new one, it's not at all subtle. Looks a bit like a Prius on steroids... (The 4 Door one anyway). For that kind of cash there are better alternatives imo.. I bought my wife one of these a short while ago. Every single time she goes out, people stop her and ask her about the car. The same when I drive it and it is a lovely car to drive. Boot is a bit small and again the rear view is not great but when I drive it I just don't care, it's so nice to drive and I think it's hard to find a prettier looking Sports Coupe as opposed to a hatch.
