Anyone else go/see the fights last night?
Superb undercard, best I have seen in years. AJ really looking the real deal although having seen the fight again this morning on TV I thought Martin should have been given the chance to carry on (although to be fair it was just delaying the inevitable)
AJ v Fury - whenever it happens is going to be massive.

Joshua is early contender for Sports Personality of the Year.

Yeah I had tickets, was an awesome evening and Joshua is so impressive. I really hope he smashes Fury and mops up the division. Heavyweight boxing hasn't been this exciting since the days of Lewis/Tyson/Holyfield etc

Why should Martin have been given the chance to carry on? The count is 10, not 10 and a bit.

Optimistic as ever

Joshua and Martin are two novice fighters thrown into the limelight to make money.

Martin was talked up to look like a challenge when in fact he was incredibly average.

Joshua is a good prospect because of his heavy hitting but he has a long way to go to be a great heavyweight.

Have to say I was impressed with Connor Benn...looks like the possibility of another Benn v Eubank dynasty appearing over the horizon

Lets be honest Martin had lost before he even stepped in the ring, just another set up and it was quite frankly a pathetic display.

Agree and he could get a good walloping when he fights Fury !!!

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky.

AJ comes across as a decent respectful fella. Reminds me of Frank Bruno and i think his career will go the same way, As soon as he comes up against a decent opponent he will get beat.

There aren't any, that's the point.

If he had to fight Holyfield or Lewis in their pomps he'd be taught a lesson

Can't see any of his fights going many rounds, when he opens up it will be game over, or he will get caught.
Can't see Joshua v Haye going 4 rounds , but couldn't say which way.
I like him.
