I lived in Preston for a bit and Fleetwood is not far. I used to hear about Vardy from Fleetwood fans and some North End fans liked him as well. Saw Fleetwood play with him upfront once and always wondered after that why we weren't looking at him? Who knows maybe we were and we didn't rate him. It's always a lottery buying lower league players but for everyone that doesn't work out , there is always a success story. Vardy wasn't all that last season but now under the right manager he's doing the business.
