Look at the type of player Leicester have signed. Not headliners or superstars - they want men that fit their ethos. Deeney is so much more than just another player for Watford, he's club captain and does a lot of work that stretches way beyond the pitch into all facets of the local community. Leicester obviously put a value on this and are prepared to stump up for the 'right man'. The same reason Watford have knocked back the silly money offers.
