Had a disturbing thought the other day, we joined the EEC (as it was then - the EU today) on Jan 1 1973 and I was still a Man U fan (had just been to the 5-0 Don Rogers etc, my first game and was on the turn) - I changed to Palace around about my birthday (Jan 7) which means I have never been both a Palace fan and outside of the EU, until just recently (I know we're still in) - was at Wembley in May for our glorious defeat, but I was wondering if I had gone back to supporting Man U whilst still in the EU I would now be in the same condition as I was in the early days of 1973, namely a non-European Man U fan, and the recent referendum would have returned me to my original condition, whereas if I had have changed back to Man U there would have been no need for the referendum to revert me to my original state and thus no need for a 'leave' vote, this may sound egocentric to the point of paranoia but I have this nagging feeling that my continued loyalty to Palace may have caused some sort of psychic chain reaction which now sees us out of the EU. Once the Brexit process is completed I will be a non-European Eagle for the first time - are my feelings justified, would anyone care to assuage me in this regard?

Yes. Who can honestly say they have not had the urge to set fire to an historic building. I know I have.
Is this a five minute argument, or the full half hour? [Link] |

What's the 1973 equivalent of a Prawn Sandwich? Crest and egg? Spam and pickle?
So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet. |

We've come a long way - having to brush your teeth with watercress was quite traumatic.
