A very versatile footballer, capable of covering CB,LB and defensive midfielder. Suffered a few injuries last season. With the depature of marriappa, we need that versatile player that can cover many positions in a long season.

I see in the press that Marc Wilson has had a serious row with Mark Hughes and will be sold. He might not be an exiting signing compared to Benteke but is a versatile squad player in defence and midfield. Views?

Was at Portsmouth at the same time as Joel Ward.

Yes versatile - I seem to recall that in the past he actually expressed a preference for playing in midfield.
