Anyone got any bitter memories of unwrapping socks in the hope that the bicycle they'd been wishing for might have just been very cleverly wrapped? I always wanted a train set as a kid. Never got one.

Yes I wanted a sindy mobile nail salon thing and I never got one. Best one was the year I remembered on Christmas eve just as I was going to bed that I had forgotten to put monopoly on my father Christmas letter. I left an emergency note next to the mince pie asking if he had a spare on the sleigh could I have it.. and he did as luck would have it.

Remember once catching sight of a raleigh grifter in our garage pre christmas. What an upgrade on my hand me down chopper. Nope. Mum and dad were storing it for friends. b******s.
