The team seem to be currently caught between playing the Pardew way and Big Sam's, resulting in our own brand of dire football. Once SA has had a few weeks to drill his methods into the team we will be much more solid and give us a good chance of survival.

As has been stated on several threads, a left back is imperative as our whole attacking dynamic is being stifled by playing Ward and Kelly. We are so predictable always attacking down the right, or alternatively launching it route one.

I believe we can still save this season.

I believe it's going to turn round too. If anything I would have thought the other night's debacle against Swansea will make big Sam more determined to turn it round. I believe he'll buy well in the window and his methods will start to pay dividends. We're at our lowest point at the moment so the only way is up, we're by no means one of the three worst teams in the division, it's just the same mistakes costing us, but we have a savvy manager in Big Sam so I have faith.
