Because we have no Left Backs of any note, as people have been saying on here for some time, so signing an aging quality left back (who is still 10 years younger than me) until the end of the season until Souare is hopefully back and a quality second Left Back for the long term is eminently sensible. Remember that Kelly and Fryers are out of Contract at the end of the season too. So we can hopefully get rid of one of those two and we won't have to scratch around in the summer.

Would be sensible but I can't imagine either would join us knowing they'll be on the bench awaiting the other to get an injury. Evra won't, the whole reason he wants the move apparently is becuase he wants to play. Doubt PVA would want to either. But getting both would be good..
