We have all seen many 'false dawns' over the years but this feels different. There seems to be a massive change in ALL the players. I am sure they feel it too. Hopefully this is what will keep Sakho, Wilf and Townsend at the Palace. The celebrations by the players was great the whole team pulled together.

Big Sam will be approaching his 80's by then,although I would also hope that he will be around for many, many years as our Manager.

I think he means 16 months!!!! it was a Joke anyway..... He's just hoping that Big Sam stays longer than the average!!! (sometimes you have to explain everything in detail!!!)

It all depends. A few weeks ago we all expected Townsend Wilf Benteke and Cabaye to leave in the summer but with what Sam is beginning to get going here, who knows?

If we stay up, which is closer, but a bit of work still needs to be done. I would like to see the majority of our players stay and see what Big Sam can do. I personally feel a top RB and another CB (Kone from Sunderland maybe) would make us much stronger. I think if Cabaye does go then we would need another technically gifted midfielder and maybe even another box to box midfielder.
The big question is if Benteke stays. If he doesn't I'd like us to go for Bakambu from Villareal.
I think we could have a top 10 finish next season, which would be really boring, but for us, it's a step in the right direction.

I'd be contacting Sigurdsson's agent now or the minute Swansea are relegated.

Buying Sakho is going to limit what we can do after, but there are other players teams will be interested in, but leave holes without cover and will cost money to fill with quality. Our front 4, and at the moment are close to, or at top 8 level, we basically have only 4 at that level and Wickham as back up.

I reckon Kone may know Sam and one or two other managers want him. He's clearly unconcerned with Sunderland going down.

He's certainly not that silly. He knows that they would all be up in arms and never accept him as their manager. Can you imagine the stink it would cause.
