Has just been let go by QPR. I believe he had problems with depression? Maybe we could be the ones to give him a second chance. He's still only 25 and we obviously need another centre back considering Sakho will be out for a while. Thoughts...

Didn't Roy give him his first cap? You don't generally become a bad player overnight....question of the right attitude! If his on a free could be a great signing......

He has sadly been suffering from depression for some time. So severe that he has not been able to play or function properly for some time. Now is not the time to debate the rights of wrongs. Now is the time to hope he can overcome his illness and start the long road to recovery
