When I was a kid (many many moons ago) my dad worked in Uganda and we met Idi Amin,who called himself the king of Scotland. Does that count ?

On my way home from school, aged 11, on my usual route, turned right, was nonplussed as the Royal limousine whooshed past and Prince Phillip gave me a big smile and wave. It was alone, no other vehicles, and they had visited some local tarted-up shopping area, perhaps it was a good day for a spin.
