Evil woman however I would have agreed with the jury. It is clear she planned and intended to cause him great harm however his death was ultimately his choice. Murder was not a foreseeable consequence of her actions. That said I would have found her guilty of manslaughter. Not sure was she not charged with that as her actions did lead to his death. Either way 12 years for what she did was way too light but I am not sure what the judge could have given her.
They could've given her 21 years like that TOWIE t*** got, even though his case resulted in no deaths. I wouldn't agree that death was ultimately his choice either, were he an animal he'd have been put out of his misery a lot more quickly. Paralysed from the neck down, lost an eye, an ear and a leg and was left in "the most inconceivable pain imaginable".

Her actions contributed considerably - maybe totally - to his eventual death therefore she could have been found guilty of murder. The fact the jury did not suggests there were cicumstances - not explained in the article- that made them give the verdict the did.
