So the feedback I have had from France this morning was 'Yesterday was unreal. People dancing in the street. It was really moving!' I just hate papers like the Express that look for the negative in every damned thing.

So French supporters go crazy celebrating winning the WC final while the English supporters go crazy winning a quarter final. That kind of shows the difference and gulf in expectations and levels of football involved.

Wouldn't happen if England won Celebrations would have involved 3 cheers for the team and a round of for he's a jolly good fellow for garath Southgate. Followed by some polite clapping by the more exuberant countrymen.
