Will we ever score a goal from open play Again? We are just pathetic at the moment, it's fraudulent taking our money!!!

Unfortunately we have perhaps the worst set of strikers at the club since the mid-80s (Chris Jones, Langley, McCulloch etc), others who you would expect to contribute have lost form (especially Townsend apart from at WBA) and we seem to have lost any idea about how to score from set-pieces.

It's becoming painful to watch our increasingly fruitless attempts to score a goal from open play. To state the obvious, how can we compete if we can't score? The best we can hope for is 0-0, unless, we are awarded a penalty or two.

Somehow think a fit and motivated Benteke when he returns next month will start scoring for fun once again and our lack of goals will be a thing of the past.

Totally disagree. Benteke is a quality striker who has some 37 caps for Belgium and under Fat Sam's guidance,scored 15 goals the season before last.
