Go to [Link] and follow the 'police command'link to find this out. If the police force concerned subcontracts to EMO, you can expect them to be hounding you for five years and may be more after the offence. If EMO is not involved, you may get away with it ....... As further advice, never rent from Gold Car - they have a reputation for screwing customers with unfair or hidden charges! Definitely a scam, what are they gonna do? Bollox to it.

Thanks all for your input, its a massive help. Ive blocked my credit card to goldcar, as ive tried to contact the police re how to pay and as they actually have made no effort to reply nor provide evidence against me at this stage. Ill log on to the emo site and see if ive been a naughty boy.

It'd be interesting to know how zealous the UK authorities are in their pursuit of foreign nationals jumping speeding and parking fines incurred whilst holidaying in these fair islands.
